Wednesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 18:00 hours.
On Mondays it remains closed.
Though the admission fee to general public and foreigners is affordable, it varies from year to year, therefore it’s better to consult the media described before (telephone or web page).
The entrance is for free for accredited Mexican visitors:
•Tuesday to Sunday: Children under 13 years, students, teachers, retired and people over the 60 years old.
•Sundays and holidays established by the federal government: visitor that are accredited with official credentials.
The National Museum of Viceroyalty, through its different departments, offers the following services to the public:
•Guided tours for general public, scholars or different groups – older adults, governmental institutions, companies, associations, etc. For requiring the service, communicate to the Educative Services department from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 15:00 hours, extension 412838.
•The museum h as audio guide service in Spanish from Friday to Sunday from 9:00 to 18:00 hours. The service has a cost and consists in a headset that provides information.
•The public library “Pablo Ignacio Martínez del Río” is available for consult from Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 to 15:00 hours.
•It also has a store and bookstore open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 18:00 hours.
